And I’m back with Part 2 of my Two for Tuesday! (Be sure to check out the blast from the past in Part 1!)
I’ll be honest…an Emoji Birthday Party was not my first pick. But 11 year old girls like heart-eyed emojis. And rainbow poop. So, why not?!

The Set-up
I am so excited about this new party set I’ve created. It’s nice to be able to click “print”, cut out some templates, and have a nearly complete party. Add that to the use of items I already had on hand, and pulling this party together was a piece of cake 🍰. (Pun slightly intended)
I think many of us are becoming more conscious of our plastic use. Just one more reason why I love using these Frappucino bottles for drinks. They are cute, functional and reusable. I have owned these for several years. My new water bottle labels fit nicely around them, too! Adding a paper straw with a straw flag…adorable perfection.
And, I bought a new toy! I know these light boxes are super popular right now. I saw this in the window display of my local craft shop for £10, and couldn’t resist. I knew it would tie in perfectly for what I envisioned for this party. It didn’t disappoint!
What would a party be without cake? I originally planned to make poop emoji cupcakes, but my daughter wanted to save those for celebrating her school party. So this cake was a bit of a last minute throw together. I think it turned out ok, though.
Party Favors
These goody bags were so easy to put together, heart punched eyes and smiles taped on yellow gift bags. Don’t you love them? I kept party favors simple: adorable matching emoji t-shirts (which I found on sale for just $4/ea at Target), number two pencils, emoji gum balls, emoji hair bows, and a few emoji stickers and tattoos.
Could these girls be any more adorable???
How cute are these bows?!? My friend and owner of Pretty Creations is incredibly talented and makes the nicest bows! (Not to mention other adorable hair accessories, bow hangers, etc) The quality is excellent and these were a huge hit with the girls! Be sure to check out Pretty Creations!
We also made these adorable emoji pillows. A funny bit about the pillows… I needed to buy some fluff to fill the pillows. I was s truggling to decide how much was necessary. It’s very dofficult to gauge when shopping online. Even after reading reviews, I wasn’t sure how much I needed. So, I guessed. And ordered. Oh.my.goodness. I ordered WAY TOO MUCH. But, I suppose that’s better than not enough.
Activities
Emojinks
As the girls were arriving, they all sat and played Emojinks. This is such a fun and easy game to play. I love that it comes in a nice tin for storage. I know we will get a lot of use from this game in the future.
SLIME!
One of the HUGE highlights was making emoji slime! I found these awesome little jars here. And we used a simple recipe for slime using school glue, baking soda, and contact solution (plus a bit of yellow food coloring).
We learned slime is very S-T-R-E-T-C-H-Y!
We also discovered that slime can work like silly putty, and be used to “copy” the image off of a party napkin!
Pin the Poop
This game had all the girls in giggles! So easy to create and they had a blast playing!
To end the evening, the girls watched the Emoji Movie, ate loads of popcorn and then stayed up late chatting.
